This article proposes a binary analytical framework distinguishing Instrumental Guidance (Utilitarian Facilitation) from Psychological Guidance (Cognitive Manipulation), situated within the broader reference system of Generative vs. Extractive logics. By integrating behavioral psychology, cognitive sociology, attention economics, and technology ethics, the paper argues that the transition from explicit, functional guidance to implicit psychological steering has transformed many digital platforms into sophisticated “cognitive prisons.” This is no longer a commercial issue, but a profound crisis of human cognitive sovereignty in the age of AI and algorithmic governance.
